Traditionally the early warning air sampling smoke detection fire industry adapted off the shelf installation materials from their local hardware store. Then a plastic sprinkler pipe was used even though it was UL listed for sprinklers and not air sampling smoke detection systems. Finally there is a pipe that is specifilly UL listed for use with ANY air sampling smoke detection system.
